Back in 1993, Louis Bacon bought an island called the Robins Island which is said to be worth around $11 million. Before acquiring it, a lot of companies planned to purchase the island so that they can put up several developments. Thankfully, Bacon acquired the property and he has no plans of putting up any resorts for he wants to protect and preserve it. The Robins Island Foundation has been created to help the protection and restoration of the island’s coastline, landscapes, and waterways.
