Before acquiring it, a lot of companies planned to purchase the island so that they can put up several developments. Thankfully, Bacon acquired the property and he has no plans of putting up any resorts for he wants to protect and preserve it. The Robins Island Foundation has been created to help the protection and restoration of the island’s coastline, landscapes, and waterways.

David Copperfield – Musha Cay, $50 Million

You should not underestimate magician David Copperfield because he was actually able to grow his net worth massively to the point that he was able to purchase his very own island in the Bahamas called the Musha Cay. The $50-million island became a destination for a luxury resort which has very high nightly rates and a rule that says you have to stay at least for four nights. We wonder if their $39K nightly rate already comes with vacation insurance.
