Colin Tennant, 3rd Baron Glenconner, was a famous British aristocrat who also portrayed David Shield in the television series The Crown. In 1958, he purchased the island of Mustique for about $60K at the time. He also gave it as a wedding gift to his close friend Princess Margaret to whom his wife was a lady-in-waiting.
