Ziggy Marley and Bob Marley
Bob Marley is a name that will always be remembered in the music industry — especially in reggae. His son, David Nesta Ziggy, has his father’s face. And he even became his spitting image when he decided to wear his hair like his dad’s. His gift in music led him to found his band Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers and went on to release eight albums with the family band. Ziggy has further released seven albums as a solo artist as well.
His music is a testament to his late dad’s with the percussion, piano, and guitar complementing his vocals in the same rhythm and soul as Bob himself. His kindness is seen as he shared his income to needy children through his charity group named Unlimited Resources Giving Enlightenment. Ziggy is a father of eight, five sons and three daughters. His wife is Orly Agai. He is a recipient of The George and Ira Gershwin Award .
