Don Knotts – Karen Knotts
Are you familiar with the character ‘Deputy Sheriff Barney Fife?’ From the 60s sitcom called The Andy Griffith Show, well, Don Knotts starred in the show. The show won Don several Emmy Awards and made him an overnight star. He also landed numerous other offers, including the show Three’s Company.
His daughter Karen Knotts shares his genes as an entertainer and found great success in standup comedy. While the father-daughter duo had their disagreements about her joining the entertainment industry, things have changed now. And Don is supportive and proud of his daughter’s success.
Karen became a SAG/AFTRA actress. She is also famous for essaying various roles such as Return to Mayberry and One Of Our Own. Karen dabbles in stage writing too. We hope she finds as much success as her star father.
