Oz Perkins and Anthony Perkins
Actor Anthony Perkins is best remembered for his chilling role as the unhinged Norman Bates in Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho. And as it turns out, he may have delivered that performance by drawing on his experiences as a closeted gay man in a more close-minded Hollywood era. Perkins maintained a marriage to a woman, Berry Berenson, until his death in 1992.
Berenson was an actress and a photographer. One of Anthony’s children from that marriage is actor Oz Perkins. The strong jawline and intense, piercing eyes are a testament to his father’s good looks. Oz Perkins has a son called James Ripley Osgood Robert Perkins III and a daughter called Beatrix Perkins. Oz’s great grandfather was a fashion designer, his grandfather was a stage actor and his brother a musician. A lot of talent runs in this family!
