Jenny Agutter broke young hearts as a child and teenage actress. A classic “girl next door” type, Agutter grew up to appear in hit films like Logan’s Run and An American Werewolf in London. She is also an Emmy Award winner, having taken home the prize for her performance in The Snow Goose. Having revived her career with the recent BBC drama Call the Midwife, Jenny is now aging gracefully in the public eye.
She has spoken out against ageism in the entertainment industry, as well as the plastic surgery that comes with it, saying, “every line and wrinkle on my face makes me the person I am.” Agutter has made some concessions to fighting age. This includes weight loss, though, claiming to stay on top of maintaining her figure continually. She values her health and sees health as an important pillar in aging.
