Rio Ferdinand is one of the celebrated English footballers in history and is also considered to be among England’s greatest players of all time. He played at the center-back position both at national and club levels. He spent a major part of his career at the Premier League club, Manchester United.
He has had a superb career at United and will always be hailed as a player who played valuable roles in the club’s triumphs in various tournaments. He retired from professional football in the year 2015. His previous wife, Rebecca Ellison died of breast cancer in 2015 and he was shattered.
He thought his life would come to a standstill until he met Kate Wright. Ferdinand married her in 2019 and the couple is expecting their first child. Kate had a nightmare with her wedding dress before the big day, but she found a solution and looked fabulous.
