Did You Know That These Stars Were the Original Choice for Your Favorite Film?
Alex Borstein -Melissa McCarthy – ‘Gilmore Girls’
The cross-generation appeal and the witty dialogues of this comedy-drama series on TV made it an instant hit with the viewers. The show went on air in October 2000 and off-air in May 2007. Starring Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Melissa McCarthy, Keiko Agena, Scott Patterson, and others, Gilmore Girls was a fan favorite.
Coming to the role of Sookie St. James, played by McCarthy in the show, the original pilot had Alex Borstein playing that role. Alex is popular for lending her voice to Lois Griffin in Family Guy.
After Gilmore Girls picked momentum, she had to back out from the series, owing to her conflicting schedules. It was then that McCarthy was brought in. However, we got to see Alex in several cameo roles later on.

Edward Norton -Mark Ruffalo – ‘The Hulk’
There’s nothing weird about actors essaying the same character in separate renditions of certain superhero movies (like Spider-Man or James Bond, for example). This was a little different- after Edward Norton started playing Bruce Banner in ‘The Incredible Hulk’, but later Mark started off in The Avengers’ since marvel and Norton fought over creative differences.
Edward is one of the most recognizable American superstars and filmmakers of his time. He’s the proud recipient of several prestigious awards and nominations. Mark too is a star in his own right and starred in several famous roles.
The difference was however between Norton and Marvel that made news for a long time, till Norton admitted he didn’t want to play the role of the ‘Hulk’ anymore.
