Kel O’Neil -Paul Dano – ‘There Will Be Blood’
There Will Be Blood is one of the strangest examples we can give you. Everything was going according to exactly what director Paul Thomas Anderson had planned. He cast Paul Dano and Kel O’Neil as Paul Sunday and Eli Sunday respectively.
But things started to get complicated when Anderson came to know about O’Neil’s discomfort in working alongside Danie Day-Lewis. Lewis portrayed the character of Daniel Plainview. So what did Anderson do? He simply replaced O’Neil with none other than Paul Dano himself.
You read it right. It was Dano who finally went on to portray the characters of the two Sunday brothers in the 2007 film. Only a few might be knowing the real story behind Dano playing the double role here.
