Stars From Hollywood’s Golden Era Who Are Surprisingly Still Alive And Kicking – Find Out What They’re Up To Now
Terry Moore – 1929
Her real name is Helen Luella Koford but she eventually chose Terry Moore as her stage name. Terry started modeling as a child before she landed her first role in the movie Maryland. She also worked on the radio during the ’40s. She got married four times and her relationship with Howard Hughes became a subject of controversy as they may or may not have married, which remained a mystery as Hughes allegedly destroyed any evidence. It all ended with a financial settlement and Moore got a nice amount of money.
Helen Luella Koford is one of the few surviving stars from the Golden Era of Hollywood. With her debut in 1940, she has had an active career spanning over eight decades and she is going strong now even at the age of 91. If it is not her passion for acting, we are sure she would have hung up her boots and retired long ago.
