Stars From Hollywood’s Golden Era Who Are Surprisingly Still Alive And Kicking – Find Out What They’re Up To Now
Gene Hackman – 1930
Eugene Allen Hackman is a successful former actor and novelist. The Academy Award winner has received numerous other honors in recognition of his talent too. This includes four Golden Globes, two BAFTAs, one Screen Actors Guild Award. We love Gene Hackman and his amazing acting. And we really miss him since we last saw him on screen in the 2004 film Welcome To Mooseport.
However, we can always watch one of his movies and get some nostalgia going. Hackman first gained attention from his role in Bonnie And Clyde in 1967. Since then, he has managed to bag two Academy Awards of his own for his performance in The French Connection and Unforgiven. Now being 88 years old, Hackman can enjoy all the earnings he received throughout a tiring yet lucrative career and get some time off as a retired acting icon.
