Stars From Hollywood’s Golden Era Who Are Surprisingly Still Alive And Kicking – Find Out What They’re Up To Now

Richard Beymer – 1938

George Richard Beymer, Jr. is a popular filmmaker, artist, and actor who needs no introduction. The actor made his debut in 1949 and has since then, been a household name. Richard Beymer’s acting career dates way back, as we first got to know him in the late ’40s. Beymer achieved success when he acted in the film adaptation of The West Side Story and then again for his star role in The Diary of Anne Frank.

His last successful role was in the iconic TV series Twin Peaks from 1990 to 1991. He even reprised his role as Benjamin Horne in the series’ revival version, appearing on it in 2017. Beymer has also worked as a filmmaker and an author, having released one book in 2007, benefiting his credit score towards retirement. However, that’s not something the actor seems to be thinking about, because he continues to follow his passion for acting even at the age of 82. So, looks like retirement has to wait!
