Coal Miner’s Daughter. Her musical works have also earned her several accolades for her contribution to country music. She actually takes pride in being the female country artist with the most awards in that genre. In May 2017, she suffered a stroke while she was at her Hurricane Mills, Tennessee home. After hospitalization at a Nashville treatment center, Lynn was forced to cancel her then-upcoming tour dates.
