Prunella Scales – 1932
BBC’s hit sitcom,
Fawlty Towers, gave English actress Prunella Margaret Scales prominence in the entertainment industry. She also portrayed Queen Elizabeth II in
A Question of Attribution and went on to receive a BAFTA nomination for that role. Scales married actor Timothy West, with whom she has two sons. Their eldest child, Samuel West, is actually an acclaimed director. The couple also boasts of both having been appointed to the OBE Commander of the Order of the British Empire Birthday Honors List. Scales supports charity and currently serves as the
SOS Children’s Village‘s ambassador.
