Tina Louise – 1934
The world became acquainted with American actress Tina Louise when she appeared in the
CBS sitcom
Gilligan’s Island as Ginger Grant. Louise started out in the industry back in the 50s and her breakthrough came with a role in the 1958 film
God’s Little Acre. That role also earned her a New Star of the Year Golden Globe Award which just goes to show that she showed a lot of promise even back then, that she was more than just a pretty face. Aside from these, Tina has also appeared in a variety of other projects like
Day of the Outlaw, For Those Who Think Young, and
The Trap. Louise was previously married to Les Crane, a TV and radio interviewer/announcer, and they have a daughter together. Their daughter Caprice Crane is a novelist and also an
MTV producer. Louise hasn’t quite welcomed the idea of settling at a retirement home, and she still occasionally acts with her last appearance having been in the 2017 film
Tapestry.
