Yes, people are stretched out as far as the eye can see. And though this picture shows a tiny fraction of the crowd at Woodstock, it also tells a story of preparation and readiness.
Right now, we can make out those who came to the festival with a solid plan and those who decided to just wing it and let fate lead them. But fate couldn’t have done a lot of leading once the skies opened up and what was once a hot, dry day turned wet really quickly. But hey! At least some attendees were smart enough to bring their tents.
