Ten Years After – I’m Going Home
The British blues-rock band “Ten Years After” hit the Woodstock Stage just as the sky darkened on day three. But if they hoped for a seamless transition from the previous performers, they were disappointed by the technical issues that plagued their performance.
But they refused to let rain-soaked equipment ruin the show. And once they launched into a cover of “I Can’t Keep From Crying,” the crowd was fired up. By the time Alvin Lee, the guitarist, and lead singer, announced their final song, the audience was putty in their hands. But, of course, choosing to end their set with “I’m Going Home” was a killer move.
