Richie Havens Ends His 3-hour Set
Here’s Richie Havens strutting off stage at the end of his three-hour set. Though his performance was over, he was still strumming his guitar with concentration. It’s almost like he needed to come down slowly after spending multiple hours performing on stage.
Though Havens was relatively unknown before Woodstock, he left an impression by the end of the festival. Interestingly, he spent a long time on stage because many other acts were running late. But, in the end, Haven did an excellent job of keeping the audience engaged. His performance must have been something to look forward to at the “Isle of Wright” festival two weeks later.
