Jefferson Airplane – The Glitches

Here’s Grace Slick and the rest of “Jefferson Airplane,” delivering a heavy dose of morning maniac music. And considering that she had to wait all night to perform that Sunday morning, we wonder how she was able to keep her white outfit crisp and clean.

They began with their cover of Fred Neil’s “The Other Side of This Life,” which was pretty standard for the time. After getting the crowd’s attention, they launched into a thrilling rendition of one of their biggest hits, “Somebody to Love.” Slick was truly into her performance, though we bet you can’t tell she got little shocks from her microphone due to poor electrical grounding.
