Grateful Dead – The Glitches
Every good artist is their own biggest critic. They know the extent of their talent and are quick to notice when they fall short. So when Jerry Garcia revealed in an interview that his band, “Grateful Dead,” had played a bad set at Woodstock, he meant it.
But we’re willing to cut him some slack. Because most of the glitches they endured had little to do with them. Instead, it had everything to do with erratic weather, poor setup, and too many people on stage. But even with all those shortcomings, they still treated the audience to a rousing performance.
