You Won’t Believe These Photos from the 1969 Woodstock Festival: From Eccentric Spectators to Spellbinding Performances from Names like Jimi Hendrix.

Sha Na Na – Get a Job

“Sha Na Na” was a rock and roll tribute band made up of Columbia University students. And while there were a lot of unusual characters present at Woodstock, this band definitely takes the cake as the most out-of-place.

First, they looked nothing like the other young adults in the audience because their style was on a completely different scale. It was also the ’60s, but this group preferred to perform parodies of ’50s songs. But those differences mattered little once they began their set, treating the audience to hits like “Get a Job” and “His Latest Flame.”
